Overview:
Compassionate Healthcare Nursing Services is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient centered care. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance & Admissions Nurse to join our team. This new role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of care and seamless onboarding of new patients into our services. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality improvement, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to patients, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as well as internal policies.
- Conduct routine audits of patient charts, care plans, and clinical documentation for accuracy and to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to address identified gaps.
- Educate and support staff on best practices and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit quality assurance reports to the leadership team.
Admissions Process:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients to determine eligibility and care needs.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Complete all admission documentation in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new patients and their families during the admissions process.
- Provide clear communication and education to patients and families about available services, policies, and care plans.
Compliance and Training:
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation guidelines.
- Assist with staff training programs related to quality improvement and compliance.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Director of Nursing, care coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
