Responsibilities of the RN Supervisor Include:

• Provides and documents initial direction of the recipient’s caregivers and primary nurse regarding the recipient’s care needs. Performs assessments on the clients and family to identify variables that may affect client outcomes. 
  

• Direct & Oversee the nursing care for clients with a tracheostomy, gastrostomy tube, ventilators, and oxygen therapy, etc.
• Identifies a wide range of problems and helps to determine and prioritize care plan approaches, goals, and objectives.
• Documents that each nurse providing home care services has the necessary skills to meet the recipient’s needs and knowledge of medical equipment to be used by the recipient.
• Ensures the client/staff concerns are handled in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
• Uses previous knowledge to address the existing and potential client/ family problems.

Qualifications:



• At least one year clinical experience which includes direct pediatric care or direct care in the area of work within the last two years.
• Graduate from an accredited RN school of nursing
• Ability to perform relevant nursing skills in area of work
• At least two years of clinical experience, which includes pediatric direct care experience within the past two years
• At Least one year of RN supervisory experience
