Responsibilities of the CNA, GNA & HHA Include:

• Assistance with personal hygiene.
• Assistance with ambulation and ROM exercises.
• Assistance with ADLs.
• Document in patient’s chart on designated form.
• Reporting changes in client’s conditions and needs to the registered nurse.
• Light housekeeping in the client’s area, laundry, light chores and other tasks necessary in regards to the clients care.
• Providing nutritional support and assistance with meal preparation and feeding.
• Performing other related supportive tasks, such as grocery shopping, escort and assistance to medical appointments under the supervision of the RN Supervisor.
• Assess vitals and documents as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a certified CNA or GNA program.
• Current unrestricted certification as a CNA or GNA.
• One year clinical experience in hospital, nursing home, or home care environment.
• At least one year of experience relevant to the assigned case.
• Pediatric direct care experience within the past two years if assigned to a pediatric client.
