Payroll Provider Changes

As many of you know the Delta variant of covid-19 is spreading among unvaccinated people. This new variant is a potential risk for our clients. Several families have requested that we send them vaccinated nurses only. Their concerns have only increased because of the Delta variant. In response to their concerns, we strongly encourage all nurses to be vaccinated. All vaccinated nurses must also provide us with proof of vaccination. Any nurse who elects not to be vaccinated must wear masks, at all times, when they are at a client’s residence. They must also quarantine after traveling, or if they are exposed to someone with the vaccine. Please contact our Nursing Department and/or Management with further questions or concerns.

All workers must present themselves in a professional manner. This means wearing scrubs or casual attire that does not hinder their ability to care for their clients. Photo-ID's can be obtained by going to www.compassionatehomenursingcare.com, and clicking on the employment tab. Then select request photo ID from the drop down menu. ANNAPOLIS, MD—With consistent improvements in key statewide health metrics and a fast pace of vaccinations, Governor Larry Hogan today lifted the outdoor mask mandate in Maryland and all restrictions for outdoor dining. The governor also announced that the state has entered a new phase of its vaccination campaign, moving to direct scheduling at mass vaccination sites and continuing to expand points of distribution. “As our vaccinations continue to expand and our health metrics continue to improve, we expect to be able to take additional actions in the weeks ahead and to return to a sense of normalcy,” said Governor Hogan. “However, I want to stress once again that the fastest way to put this pandemic behind us once and for all is for every single eligible Marylander to get vaccinated as soon as possible.” EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: OUTDOOR MASK MANDATE. Masks and face coverings are no longer required outdoors in the State of Maryland. Lifting the outdoor masking order is in line with new CDC guidance. Face coverings are still required for all Marylanders at all large ticketed venues as well as indoors at all public and private businesses and when using public transportation. Marylanders who are not yet vaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue wearing masks, especially when physical distancing is not possible.

Dear License and Certificate Holder, Ordinarily, an applicant for renewal that has waited more than 30 days after the expiration of his/her license or certificate to submit a renewal application must do so by submitting the application in paper form. For those who have elected to postpone renewing their license or certificate in accordance with the Governor's previous executive orders temporarily extending the expiration dates of licenses, permits, and certifications, please be advised that the Governor has issued a revised Executive Order terminating the temporary extension of licenses, permits, and certifications effective June 30, 2021. To accommodate the anticipated volume of additional renewal applications by those who have postponed renewing their licenses and certificates, the Board will permit licensees and certificate holders to submit their renewal applications electronically, even if you are submitting your renewal application more than 30 days after it was originally scheduled to expire. If you have elected to postpone renewing your license or certificate in accordance with the Governor's previous temporary extension, then you are strongly encouraged to submit a renewal application online as soon as possible, and, at a minimum, at least 30 days prior to the June 30, 2021 deadline. If your license or certification has been non-renewed or inactive for greater than one year, please contact the appropriate renewals department via email (see email addresses provided below) for guidance on how to proceed with your renewal.
